“Over the weekend at the IFA Show in Berlin, LG displayed the curiously named Flatron M4200D, a 32 inch LCD display which uses a lenticular screen that directs the required portion of the image to each eye, resulting in a realistic 3D effect without the need to become a fashion casualty. The catch however is that you need to sit precisely 13.1 feet from the screen for it to work properly. Obviously, there’s no good way to sample its effectiveness without seeing it in person, but people who have report that the image is remarkably lifelike, and lets you change your perspective by moving your head from side to side”.
