The Oqo teeny weeny Windows XP two-palmtop has landed. In the New York Time’s Circuits, David Pogue writes (“Fitting Your PC in a Pocket”):
OQO is the most elegant, versatile, solidly build miniature PC possible with current technology. Its creators have blown the concept of the digital hub to smithereens, and given whole new meaning to the term pocket PC.
But he does conclude that the idea of using the Oqo as your sole computer is a “tad far fetched.”
I’ve been fiddling about with an Oqo for the past week or so. Being a Mac guy, it’s not managed to replace my beloved Powerbook G4 and is not on me at all times like my Sidekick ][, but there’s a lot to like. I’ll be writing up my impressions further in a short while.
